Beta year’s first trimester has come to an end now with me just sitting for my last paper for this Final barely hours ago. Was it a good semester you may ask. I would say, give and take ~ ok ny la. Nothing much to really shout about. Undeniably, it has been a semester of meeting new people, adjusting to the environment and culture here and most definitely trying to embrace what this place and the people here can offer. It has been a tiring one as well...

Truth is, I know that this could be a much longer, close to never ending post if I were to tell you how things didn’t go as planned and how things turned out differently for me here. And by didn’t go as planned and turned out differently, I meant that in a not so positive way. I wasn’t negative from the very beginning though. You have no idea how positive I was at the beginning ~ so positive that it could probably cure cancer *haha..exaggeration*  Then things started to not turn out the way I expected it to and I realized some hard truths. Truths that are though painful to accept and realize, but I’m glad I realized it sooner than later. With those revelations, I could pretty much say I started to get tired. Tired here as in lazy-to-put-in-effort-and-respond-to-things kind of tired. Call me unwilling to try and put in an effort, but that’s cause you don’t have a single clue how hard I tried at the beginning. I also have this amazing thrill like never before to want to go home all the time and the feeling of wanting to run out of here every chance I got. Anyways, if any of you are curios and wanna know what happened, come ask me and I’ll tell you. I wouldn’t mind sharing. Definitely not going to do it here.

Then, because I was embracing my new found alone time, I kept myself busy with a few stuff. And this is the short list of things that I did to practically keep me sane...

- Talked on the phone as if there was no tomorrow and as if the phone charges were free

- Started following more blogs, give and take around 6 now

- Gave blogging a try, hence the birth of this blog and

- A Picture a Day - September 2011 ~ enjoyed doing these the most

And before I cabut for my much needed and awaited semester break, here are two pictures I wanna share…

~ I can’t wait to get home.!!!

~ Can’t wait to see the hand-me-downs that I’ve gotten that is just screaming to be touched and seen

~ Can’t wait to cook a real meal for myself even if it’s just frying eggs and experiment in the kitchen

~ Can’t wait to watch TV =P

~ Can’t wait to have hot water for showers

~ Can’t wait to eat my favourite char siew noodle from my favourite kopitiam

~ Can’t wait to have the house all to myself

~ Can’t wait to sing on top of my lungs without the fear of anyone hearing and seeing me

~ Can’t wait to do so much of things.!!!
